Nothing Is Impossible
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Impossible is a dangerous word to throw around when you’re tired, stressed, or waiting on an answer. We anchor the conversation in Luke 1:37, “For with God nothing shall be impossible,” and we keep it real about what faith looks like when life is not cooperating. Sometimes the biggest battle is not the problem in front of us, it’s the way we keep picking it up after we pray, replaying the fear, and trying to control the outcome like God needs help.
We talk about why doubt shows up even in believers: past disappointment, delays that mess with your confidence, and the constant temptation to compare your journey to somebody else’s. We challenge the idea that similar situations should produce the same decisions, because your story, your pressures, and your assignment are different. When we stop performing faith and start practicing it, our words and our actions finally match, and people can actually see the testimony we claim.
You’ll also get clear, practical steps for strengthening faith in difficult times: stay in Scripture, pray with expectation, release control, and remember past victories. We close with straight encouragement for anyone who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or forgotten, and a reminder that today’s struggle can become tomorrow’s story of restoration. If this helps you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review so more people can find it.

SPEAKER_01True enough when they used to sing hymns on Sundays, some couple of Sundays, and one Sunday they didn't get a hymn. This became my favorite hymn. Even though I didn't know what it meant, I just like the tempo, I like the words, I like how they born the court, and it became my favorite. So when I'm telling, you know, people, you know, when it's my turn, you're done. Make sure first of all I'm looking out. This is one of the songs I want to play. Don't be surprised if you hear tampering within the cat. You know, once tampering out is gone, tampering out. But this is this is like one of my favorite, or it is my favorite hymn, because every time we sing it, something else is going on.
SPEAKER_02Alright.
SPEAKER_01That's what I love about when I'm telling my mentees about the Bible. You can read the Bible yesterday, and it meant one thing. And then you read it today, same verse, but it means something different. See, the Bible is that one book that they'll change. You know, it's gonna mean something different. You can pick it up three or four times, and every time you read that same verse, it's gonna mean something, everything new. With this verse, the second one says, Trust in him who will not leave. Friends come and go. Marriages come and go. If you want something outside of me, come and go. You know, things come and go in your life, but it says, whatsoever years may break in the times that we're living in is whatsoever minutes. That could have been good five minutes ago. 15 minutes now, I'm gonna slaying on the floor trying to figure out how am I gonna survive.
SPEAKER_03Alright.
Luke 1:37 Sets The Theme
SPEAKER_01If my earthly friends are forsaken, they move, if it's preventing you from praising God the way you used to, it's time to start letting some things go. Some people are so comfortable where they are. They don't want to let it go. Your job is stressful. You didn't have high oppression when you started. But you don't want to let the job go because it's comfortable. You know, you can get away with things, you got some order, but your health is telling you what. So, what we are going to talk about, because I always tell people that my house is just a reality sick life. You never know what you're gonna get from one season to the next. But it's gonna keep you on the edge of your seat. Because you weren't honestly the people still saying, we know, we just play it out. So we're gonna talk about nothing is impossible for the Lord.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Faith that moves the impossible.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
Stop Micromanaging What You Prayed
SPEAKER_01So scripture, uh, all right, is Luke chapter one, verse 37. Sometimes one verse is all we need to tell everything. So Luke chapter 1, verse 37 said, one thing we all need to know. For with God nothing shall be impossible. Alright. This scripture was spoken in a moment that divine natural explanation. It serves as a reminder that God's plans are not restricted by circumstances. He is able to do what seems unrealistic, unthinkable, and even unimaginable. There are moments in life when everything feels stuck, when prayers seem unanswered, doors may close, and hope feels distant. In those moments, it's easy to believe that your facing is impossible. But God's word reminds us of a powerful truth. Nothing is impossible for the Lord.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_01What limits us does not limit God.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_01What overwhelms us is already under his control. When we shift our perspective from our problems to his power, everything changes. You hear me say it time and time again, we as morals make our situation worse. Because we think we know the solution. And what all we've told people is if you trust in God, there is no way. So there is no I say lay my prayers at the altar, and then I get up and show. I sit up here and group this and this type of thing. I have enough money to do this. And then when you do that and the next paper comes, you have less money than you did when you saw. What I tell people is when you go to the altar and you lay it on the line, he does not need you to micromanage him. He's done his job already. And he's had people in worse situations than you. What you think is impossible is just another Sunday morning for him. Let God do nothing.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_01So what does nothing is impossible for the Lord means? That phrase isn't just comforting, it's transformation. It means that God operates beyond human limitations, logically entirely. Where we see obstacles, he sees opportunity. Alright. Where we see endings, he creates a new beginning. So something may be your stumbling block, and that's what the old ones used to say, be my stumbling block. Which is your stumbling block is gonna turn out to be your testing. Alright. Something that is stopping you from doing something is because he says create a new beginning. See, things that we see that we think is okay, what am I gonna do? Now, the Lord is like, if you just wait a minute, practice that patience you keep telling everybody you have. You fits to see what I'm fits to do. I have learned, and I've when I say that, I'm not telling you stuff that I've heard, I'm telling you stuff that I've said. Because when you you relate better when somebody knows exactly what you're talking about. So I'm gonna tell you something I've read, I'm gonna tell you something I've seen. This is stuff that I've been through. Yeah, I've said it's guys that I'm still wrong, folks a lot. But I'm saying. Yeah. Because things that I have done, yeah, I know you won't. You y'all gonna put you done. Alright. But sometimes God uses us to make an example for something else. And he knows he can use you and it won't break you. He's going to use you. Alright. Because it's a bigger picture, something lower than you, it's somebody else who is weaker than you, whose spirit hasn't got to where yours is that needs to see. This is what happens when you do this. So I know I've been, I probably changed a lot of people's lives around naturally. Like, like you try to get it. But that's okay, because that's something I call it. But at the same time, it helps someone that you know, someone who isn't as who isn't as strong as someone who doesn't have whose spirit isn't his strong desire. If you do something, it's not gonna break me. Yes, yeah. I'm like questioning, but it's not gonna work.
SPEAKER_02All right.
SPEAKER_01But that's sometimes that's what God uses. When you wonder why would God have you ever forsaken me, he didn't. He told you what not to do, he chose to do anything. Yeah. And that's why you tell people when when they go through something, he said that the Lord is nothing. Don't come and take up the Lord. But what does that mean? He told you. Not to do it not only. I told you what was going on to me. Yeah. And what happened?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And then I knew that. Because I'm not I'm the only one that told you so. The first thing tells you is because I know I've done it. I know what happens next. But you think you know everybody. You think well I've done this before, and I never well that was before.
SPEAKER_02Alright.
SPEAKER_01This is now because God's supposed to elevate you somewhere else. We need to put that child yourself to the side. Because I'm not running. So when you do suffer, after I sat there and told you, I'm like, you saw what happened to me. What made you think you were gonna need now? Come on, come on, come on.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Why we struggle to believe.
SPEAKER_02Alright.
SPEAKER_01Even with faith, doubt, and grief. Yeah, life experiences, disappointments, and delays can cause us to question whether things will unchange. Here are a few reasons why we struggle. We rely too much on what we say. We've been disappointed before. We try to control outcomes instead of trusting God. We compare our journeys to others. But faith is not about having other answers, it's about trusting the one you live in.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01It drives me nuts when yes, I'm a diabetic old pay. I'm a diabetic. But when you see me, you like you can't think. I said, I said I'm a diabetic offer.
SPEAKER_03Alright.
Comparison Breaks Trust And Joy
SPEAKER_01But I love it when something my body reminds me, you do know the diabetic, and I can't do something. But then another diabetic, I can get up and then that's you! You can't remember my body. Two body. Oh yeah, and I'm loving, I can sit there and let them talk. And I'm like, okay, man. And I'm still not gonna do what I said I'm gonna know. I'm still that's your body. Or your situation maybe similar to someone else's, and nobody's gonna all do with it. That works for you. That's not got nothing to do with the situation that be the same, but how it got there is different, which means I need another different outcome. We're too busy trying to prepare while we got the same job, and I can afford this, and you can't. I'm gonna bring how can you ever go out and get the nails done, get the hair done. But you got because my life is different. When it moves, I jump like I'm supposed to. I'm not supposed to let God know something out of my life and then sit there and wait like shit. I learned in the first chapter. I learned when God says jump, you jump the last time, the last way you jump, the last way you go, and God says jump, you take the babies and you jump it. That is the same way. I told you not to do that. I need to show you to someone else. And what will happen and stealing to do? So, what did God do? And he'll let you fall, and he'll let you. That's the thing I love telling my matches every action has a grievance.
SPEAKER_02All right.
SPEAKER_01Which means if somebody does something to you and you do something back to them, but we just better be prepared with about to happen next.
SPEAKER_02Alright.
SPEAKER_01Because every action has a grievance, which is what God is trying to tell you. When I say don't do something, don't do. Your action is you get it anyway. So the action is what happens because of what you do. Yeah. Come on.
SPEAKER_02Come on.
SPEAKER_01Faith is not about having all the answers. We want to have an answer for everything. We won't do nothing if we don't know what the outcome is going to be. But it's all about trusting the one that does. You can't sit up here in church and tell you I love the Lord that he heard my cry. But then when the Lord tells you to do something, you have to do no live.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But you sit over there saying that I am a living testimony. And then the people are watching you testimony for what? You can't say what it's got to match. You can't say this and do this. Or do this and say it's it's got it's got to match. And you wonder why people are gonna come with you when you wanna invite me to the church. I'm like, oh they weren't. What I'm seeing through you at work, it's not working. It's got to match. How to strengthen your faith in difficult times.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
Four Ways To Strengthen Faith
SPEAKER_01This is why we like every hair somebody. God's promises are the foundation of our faith. The more we read and meditate on scripture, the stronger our belief becomes. Jeremiah 32, 17 says, My Lord God, behold, thou hast made heaven and earth by the great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. Second thing is praying with expectation. Yes. Prayer is not just a routine. It's a communication with a powerful. When you pray, believe that he hears behind the scenes. What people, I love that people know me, to know I'm not just a sugar coat, I'm not just a silver man. I'm not gonna do that. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you, I don't worry, he don't even. I'm gonna check. He didn't get another. Why don't I? Because you keep praying the same prayer over and over and over. You keep asking people to pray for you, and I tell them for what? I need you to pray for what? What I'm doing is an ancestor. If it doesn't come for you, I can pray to my own. It's not on her because it's not about me. It's about you, but you can pray for yourself, and if you can stand on the prayer that you just prayed in, you don't need to be asking somebody else to pray for you because I guarantee that somebody that's not praying what you want them to pray. Which is probably why you're in a situation that you're in, because they prayed against you. Instead of for you, you got to learn how to pray for yourself. Which is why sometimes if you can say, I tried to come again. Apparently the Lord didn't want you talking about it. He and people have to realize the Lord will remove them. He sees you keep talking to someone else, but he's trying to talk to you. He's gonna move that person so you have no choice but to listen to him. And I told many of you, don't get me wrong, I'm downstairs to this. God is trying to prepare you for what he knows is coming, and you're not so maybe he may cut off the dish to you. Maybe he may come with the cellar, maybe he may come off with the telephone. He doesn't get to remove whatever he has to remove to get.
SPEAKER_02All right, all right.
SPEAKER_01Yes, all right. Number three, release the control. Trying to figure everything out can lead to stress and frustration. Trusting God means letting go and allowing him to move in here. Yeah. We want stuff done. So as we think it's we want to go. So let's put that punctuation up in the top of respect to be done.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That's not how that's not how God works.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_01See, God already knows what's coming. So he knows what he needs to do, but he needs to do what he needs us to do is sit down. Because when we interfere, we prolong the process. What he had coming could have come in the morning. Because you had to jump on money, tell somebody, do move something around. That's gonna be next week's okay. When he had control, let him keep control. With micromanaging, he can do God by himself. Number four, remember past victories. Reflect on what God has already done. If he did it before, he can't do it. It doesn't matter if your situation is similar, your outcome is gonna be different. It doesn't matter if on the last job this is how the employees are, on this job, it's gonna be different. When people start reflecting on the negatives, I'm sitting up and telling them, but you're still here. You still have a house. You may be fighting for me, but at least you still got it. It's not there for both. You got food. It may not be exactly what you want, but at least you got something. You got war, you got light. Why are you focusing on the warts instead of the needs? That's the problem. We want to we focus more on the wars, what we want. I wish I want this, I want that. Instead of Lord, I need this. My family needs this. We keep forgetting what he's already done for us. Because we're focusing on the here and the now and we're not remembering. You remember when you did this last week? But he didn't? He watched you out of that, didn't you? Yeah. You can't believe you keep talking, you're gonna find out what happened to you later. But you're gonna sit down somewhere.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
Tell What People Need To Hear
SPEAKER_01When God does the impossible, God often shows up when things seem the most unlikely. All right. He opens doors that no one can shut. Restores what was lost and brings peace and chaos. Your situation may feel impossible right now, but it is not beyond God's reach. What you're facing today could be the testimony you share tomorrow. Yeah. I know as we got older in the adults of life, if you don't know, don't tell anybody off the business. Okay, but how they don't relate to what I'm doing, they may see me bouncing around, you know, my bungee short of a half meal, but they don't know what they're inside. I'm about I'm flipping tables in my brain, the people in my brain are flipping tables, so if you're like fucking the world, I'll be festivities. You sometimes have to. Now don't get me wrong. I'm not gonna tell you everything, but I'm gonna tell you what she needs.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Because if I told you everything, y'all would run cars on my already. If I wanted to really do that, you said, no, we're not gonna do that because I don't need to go home and see my daddy looking at me like you did what not? No, I did nothing. Yeah. You come over here and you tell what people need to keep. Yeah. So they can know that, okay, well, she's been through.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. But she's always smiling, she's always happy. Yeah. She's always banging on the table. But she just went through what I need to go ask her what did she do.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So it's not only about telling your business, it's telling how much somebody needs to keep. If you are doing what the Lord asks you to do, you will tell them what someone needs to hear. Because most of the time, that's all they need. But she knows that he could have probably been talking to them all week, whether Harry gets up here and tells you how it was back in the day. Okay, what the Lord did say. And sometimes that's all they need to do. Is to see someone else is going through it, which gives them the confidence available to do what they need to do.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_01Encouragement for today. If you're feeling discouraged, take a moment to realize your faith to me. God has not forgotten you. He sees every struggle, hears every prayer, and knows exactly what you need. Nothing is impossible for the Lord. Not your healer, not your breakfast, not your restoration. Keep believing, keep trusting, and keep moving forward in faith. The next time you feel overwhelmed, remind yourself of this truth. God is greater. What's impossible to you is fully possible. Faith does not eliminate the challenges, but it gives you confidence that God is in control of the outcomes.
