I spoke on this yesterday, July 30th, at my church. I have spoken on this before, last year, but this time it is live, and it is still relevant a year later. I always do this kind of talk right before school starts reminding parents and teachers prayer doesn’t start at school, it starts at home.
It’s time for our children to ‘know” God and not just know “of” God. When we are not around, God is who they will need to turn to for their help.
#pray #prayers #students #educators #teachers #together #TogetherWeCan
I want to remind you to don't forget to subscribe to the channel. Also don't forget to hit the notification bell so you know what makes it keep the conversation going. Remember, it's not about me. It's about you. It's about you. It's about yes.
unknownSatisfied. We still got too many people in the world who want to see things a certain way, done it a certain way, but if it's just Jesus, yeah, yeah. It doesn't matter how you get as long as you eat it. Growing up, you know, they used to hear about all the know about the Lord that you serve. Now that I'm older and I was living this life, testify to some other things, and think it was some trial and tribulations of my own. It now comes to the point of what God are you serving?
SPEAKER_01That you think you're going to pray for something and it's going to call it like so both saying, This is what you pray. What God are you serving when you're praying for healing, when you're praying for salvation, that's all.
unknownThe God I know, because the things that I've been through, the things that I've seen, giving in a way that you're not going to expect. It may be a kind of work. It may be a kind of gesture, right?
SPEAKER_01It may be what you're going through and somebody gives you that back, or it can kind of parts you. You don't know how to get it because it's simple. Sometimes somebody's acknowledging your resistance, and there's a lot of work on the home because you think that nobody knows what I'm going through. All right, I understand. And it's all you get a young person actually say, Wait, you're doing something.
unknownSo the father that I serve ain't gonna sit up here, you know, something simple, something he knew me, not necessarily what she wants. So we gave it to you in a way that he knows whatever it is that you want to do. So it is just Jesus. Any day, does that? Anybody who's never doesn't want to be wrong. At school, we're ready to start with the couple.
SPEAKER_01Every time we want school starts, I do something just with parents, right? And anybody who knows anybody that's in this school is. Because this is the time when they need prayer.
unknownBecause every of you, you don't know what soul is walking through that door.
SPEAKER_01You don't know if it's touched by God, if it's touched by the word, or if it's touched by things.
unknownYou don't have.
SPEAKER_01So today we're gonna talk about can we really blame lack of prayer in school? The reason why is because I guarantee you the first couple weeks of school, if something happened, the first thing you're gonna hear somebody say, if they didn't take prayer out of the school.
unknownWell, I'm standing here as a testament.
SPEAKER_01I was there when they added in the school, I was there when they took it out.
unknownNothing was changed. Nothing was different. It doesn't matter if the prayer is there, if it's not.
SPEAKER_01Romans 12, 12 says, rejoicing in hope, patience and tribulation, continuing instant in prayer. Psalms 54, 2 says, Hear my prayer, O God, give ear to the words of my mouth. So, going back to what I said earlier, you can think of that, you must remember the answers to your prayers may not come with a bow and a new attached. So, as you're praying for having a blessed school year, as you're praying for the teachers to get what they so righteously deserve, you've got to remember that when he sends it, it may not be sent with a little bowl of another. Do this with this to less. It's not a common. People are quick to blame lack of prayer in schools as for the reason for all the dangers our kids are in today by trying to get an education. But it has nothing to do with it. Prayer does not start at school, it starts at home. I know in that Washington household, you better pray before you eat.
unknownI know they prayed when you left school.
SPEAKER_01I know when they prayed when he came back home from school.
unknownNow you have to do it three or four times harder because you want to make sure your child comes back before he wishes out. All right. You also want to pray that you even see your child for eating. Because the world is getting crazy enough when they snatch your kids off the call from school.
SPEAKER_01Kids are getting bold when they leave for school. School don't even know they're not, but they're back in time to get on the bus to come back home. And you don't even know what it is. I miss the days when the elders of the village did not care what the parents thought. When you're not home, I'm watching your house. That's how it always was. 753 bring up. They knew what type of dad they owned, they knew what type of mama they own. I wasn't school. I made no rebellion, I made them also my mama's city, but I was doing it. I knew they were watching that house. Amen. They knew what time them parents walked in their stuff. They didn't see a cop or another person's land. They didn't know what they got. I miss those days. When maybe there's been no, but they were nodes because they were caring about your child in the other people.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_01I miss those days when you're in the church. You're up here doing one thing, your child in the yard doing something else, but somebody was watching. You know, now you do that, you got parents who are sick.
unknownWhy are you in my meeting?
SPEAKER_01Why are you watching my channel?
unknownAnd then you wonder why children don't have to take it. All right. Well, you can take that from it all starts.
SPEAKER_01See, I love hearing when I was here, babies, you know, I can do something. You know, I think that's the problem.
unknownThey could be doing something in here. Me, brunch, wine, turn, all of us be outside.
SPEAKER_01I don't know where he comes from. She's just lost. She's like, you don't even know what. Or I could be doing something and he'll come on the board. On the court was like, yeah, I'll hit me just looking at you. But see, I miss those days when the elders took care of the children. When they weren't around, it didn't matter if mom and daddy weren't around. Somebody was looking after you. You can't do that. I can tell you growing up, when we did our primary schools, it didn't stop it. It didn't. It didn't stop anybody.
unknownKids were still being wolfed, fights still broke out, some were weapons, kids still got in trouble for foolishness, and police were still being called to the schools.
SPEAKER_01So what really changed from now until then? Parents. That's the child. Growing up, your parents were your parents, but that also was your friend. But growing up, you knew the difference between the train. Now, you don't know who the brand on the children. There's so much stuff going on, you don't know anymore. And then by the time they try to parent, it's too late. They see you as a little wrong next. They don't respect you anymore. If they don't respect you, they're not going to respect no longer. I love when I go to school. I get no children trying to be put on me when I walk into school. I know that. They know cell phone, house phone, working mail, personal email. They can text me. They know. If they need to find me, they know how to find me. My kids have grown up knowing their teachers know how to find me. They don't have them call me. I think. I'm only saying it here today because I think they don't have it.
unknownOne time. One time.
SPEAKER_01They had to call my mama or something.
unknownAnd it was one of my mom.
SPEAKER_01I didn't say I don't like it.
unknownBut I know they call her. One time. That's all it took.
SPEAKER_01You're not calling my kid. Kids today, you got to do it a couple of times for them to get the end. I know what I'm gonna tell some. I'm gonna tell I'm gonna tell my staff. Because Stephanie, people say when you have a daughter, she's like, you know, Stephanie is my is my best. That is my other. When Stephanie was young, that's when we used to live on the phone. So we was like two minutes on the school. That was the time when I was working with mom.
unknownI get phone. Stephanie's doing this, Stephanie's doing that.
SPEAKER_01By the time Stephanie went to lunch, Stephanie wasn't 54 seconds. And he knew we got some phone. And then he wasn't, and everybody knows Stephanie. He wasn't a bad child. He's just a, he was just, he can't sit here. He's got to move. He's just got, he's like his papa, we got to move. I can all this him so long. I got to do something. But in the school systems, they try to say that you may need to test for a year. Because when I mentioned his doctor, the doctor told me how my face says, That's another thing I missed. Back in the days, teachers knew how to teach. They did not tolerate kids coming into that building acting like they had no house to sing. They did what they had to do, children strength teachers, it was a good day. Parenting has changed. And you can tell that when you go into the school, you can tell that.
unknownYou can tell where the children are getting. Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_01When you see, when Tracy went to that school on Sasha College, College, I think, nope. And she was doing this, and she went to be on black school. That was fine. Go for it. Then she came back home and said, nope. Because every bullet that's in that school was on classic one. And then when I went to the school one day, when I had a B tang, we're gonna grab the school. And the parents come in here cussing, hollering. I'm like, what?
unknownNo, I'm gonna.
SPEAKER_01That's really being funny. I'm like, it makes no, it's that's my saying.
unknownTaking private schools has nothing to do with it. It's the parenting. Because just like they tell you in schools, learning the children's first teacher is us. Learning about God is us.
SPEAKER_01How you're supposed to act in public is us. How you're supposed to treat people is us. What they see us do is what they're doing.
unknownAnd now we're putting more on teachers. Now teachers can't teach no more. They gotta be a bibliology, they gotta be a person machine, they gotta be a pastor, they gotta be a psychiatrist, they gotta be a doctor. They let some teachers prescribe medicine. We're letting teachers and the government do too much because we're failing on what we were supposed to do. When children walk through that door, they're supposed to go there too long. Nothing else but learning. And I make that clear.
SPEAKER_01That's why teachers, I guess that's why teachers perspective me because they show them not that paying them. I know what you're doing. You know, when the poor parts come home, and nothing teachers being cut sad, people pay attention to what your child is doing. Whereas I call the teacher, oh, business home. And I even had the plus is home. I can't help you because I don't know what to do, right? I can't have them have a bad break in class because I don't know what that's a problem.
unknownGrowing up in that Washington household. But one on a time, my mother had to make that one study, and that didn't that need it for me to grace too. I'm like, okay, I'm done.
SPEAKER_01When I came home, and I think I had a what was it, E? Like this ain't tell you what he and wants. You only know A, B, C, E, and M. And when I heard mumble, yeah, I don't know. I'm like, that didn't mean. I'm like, no worries.
unknownI ain't trying to see God or anything, so let me do what I'm supposed to do.
SPEAKER_01But it goes back to parenting. You knew what you can get away with. You knew every child has that mumble, but they testify. You know, you you testify and see how hard it is. Every child does that. But when you don't stop this, then they go to the next thing. Then it goes to the next thing. So now parents are basically sending their kids to school just a lot as they wouldn't no more.
unknownYou know, they ain't y'all, so that's your problem. No, it's not. Because now your child becomes a problem with everybody else. I graduated from high school in 1992. Back then, teen grade seat was getting a good start. The problem was it kept going. You had babies having babies, and they didn't have time to grow up themselves yet. So some didn't have the guidance during this much-needed time to nurture them on how to raise a child.
SPEAKER_01So they did what they could do with what they had. Which for a lot of them was no nurturing whatsoever.
unknownYou fast forward, we have generations now that are friends with their kids, the parents of their kids. Anything wrong with this? No, not as long as you're the parent first and you help them to remember, because they do sometimes forgive. From time to time, who's the parent and who's the child.
SPEAKER_01There's nothing wrong with this one. What happens is when parents become friends and try to hang out with their children instead of leaving their children, and the respect for the parent starts to fade.
unknownIt never fails. Parents are their friends for so long that when they try to parent, it's too late. All respect for you is gone. Because you let them get away with so much stuff for too long, they don't see you a parent anymore. They see you as a mother, they see you as a girlfriend. They see you as a my wife to get to what I want to know. Because as long as I let you drive me, I can even know I want to know. You still have that to that. A lot of us are seeing that. But they're mad, you're seeing that. They're dressing, they're black. You know, when we were growing up, you better come just because God let you do. You know, you got to show it.
SPEAKER_01You make sure you were out on it. Nowadays, I'm sitting up there, I can see that girlfriend. You know, you see children now where they're showing more than they're covering. But then you look at the parents, I'm like, just stand up. And then you wonder why they get the attention that they get. Because they're not the right attention. But you wonder why they get the attention that they're getting.
unknownWell, look at the way you're dressed. If you don't care about the way you look, how you expect somebody else's game.
SPEAKER_01When it comes to parenting and going into the schools, if you don't, if you want the teachers to help, because teachers are willing to go out of their way to help the student, but if they're saying the parents don't care, why should I go out of my way? I'm already a baby. Why should I go out of my way to make sure your child passes to the next grade when you can't even come to a parent teaching right now? You can't even answer a telephone. But when you, when your child has got eight grade, now you're gonna go up my father. But when I'm trying to help you, you didn't, it's the parenting that has changed. God is no one where he counseled for me. I mean, his name ain't mentioned on Sunday, but the rest of the week he's not late. So you've got children doing what they want to do when they want to do it, and there's no structure. There's no, there's nothing. So, like I said, you know, back in the day when we had prayer in schools and when it sucks, nothing has changed.
unknownThe only thing that's changed is the parenting. When it was first said about taking pride in the schools, my question was where was all the outrage when they took it to the courts in the first place? Now I was young. It was like the 90s and 2000s.
SPEAKER_01When they start talking about taking pride schools, it was when I was young. And all we had to do was show up, but we didn't and look for happy. I remember the family that went up, there were three of them. A mother, a son, and a grandmother. There were three of them that went to court. They were babies. I said, We need to take a pride in the school. My problem is the only reason why they said that is because over time they changed.
unknownIt used to be a moment of silence. That's what it was called. Then they said, let's have a moment of prayer. When they put the prayer word in there, that's when everything was.
SPEAKER_01And they left it alone and what have finished it because that's what we know. You know, those who were church and home be pregnant. Those who were hungry, we hate. Those who didn't change the homework, that's what we did. You do whatever you need to do. But when they changed it and put prayer in there, that's when everybody got upset. And when they went to court, all the Christians had to do was show up.
unknownThere were three of them, but there were millions of us. But nobody showed up. And they were easily able. And all the love was the word. I mean, they still have a moment. So basically, what they did was they put it back to the way it was. That's how the moment was like. Nothing really changed. They just took the word. But the point of it is, is we're complaining about everything that we do in Dublin, but when God needed us the most, when our children needed us the most, we weren't there. You know, all we had to do was show up and say the Bible was necessary. We couldn't even say, we'll take it out. So we did, and it turned into the biggest hoop club in not every school unit. Something happens in the school, school should. Show me right. Teachers being for burning, they give the girls in the fight.
SPEAKER_01Whatever the case it is, never talk about it.
unknownIf they didn't take the problem in the school, the prayer never left.
SPEAKER_01It's still there. When your child's sitting at lunchtime, right. When your child's getting ready to take a test, right. When they have that moment of silence, right. It's just a word. It doesn't have nothing to do with your actions. You can pray whenever you feel like it. Right? We let the world decide what we can and can't do. And now they're thinking that because no, it needs to start a power. So that has nothing to do with what they need. Prayer still starts at home, but so does parents.
unknownIf you don't control your child at home, what do you think they're going to do when they go to school? It's not the school's job to discipline our children.
SPEAKER_01They should go to school like they got some sense in the world. Sit down, shut up, and learn. That's all you need to do. You can watch this very clear. All you need to do is to do like that. Do your work. Come home, get your homework done. They expect those words to show. Well, the court party comes in, but our kids are not doing it because the parents are letting them do too much. You know, they may go home, but then your homework is done.
unknownThey're in all these different sports, grade and family, but you still let them do sports because they're good.
SPEAKER_01Well, then I may not overcompes, because technically, when the grades aren't where they're supposed to be, they shouldn't be on the team, right? So it's it's it goes not only just the parent, but also goes for the future because now schools are more into the funding, schools are more into the championships, schools are more into the scholarship. Then I made this out of our kids. Your kid is taking it, but somehow he's still able to stay on that team. Who's doing his work? Because they look at that stuff. So somebody's doing it for him to keep him on their team.
unknownAll right.
SPEAKER_01But then when you talk to them, you can tell.
unknownSomebody you're good enough to stay on this team. Somebody's good enough to be on the home road. You ain't picked up the book since I'm here. Right.
SPEAKER_01But it's like I said, it goes along with the parenting. If you're paying attention to what your child is doing. When my kids went to their company school, how I dropped them off is how I expected to get the money. One time, drinking down that coffee, she wasn't the way I left her. Oh, that's whole line that's up. Because I'm looking at what's the problem, but something was wrong. You know, I pay, that's no way you can pay attention. Your children can't always say something because they don't know how to say it. You know, people you think that just because they're intellectually gifted, words is somehow hard when it comes to emotion. You know, they still don't know how to express what it is that they're feeling, and then as a parent, we can't go back to McDonald's either, because that messes us up too.
unknownBecause if your child wasn't built before, it must be bullet bad.
SPEAKER_01I said, Oh yeah, she got anybody cool. You can't do that. Because now you're gonna marry your channel, they will never tell you nothing ever again. And now you're on the news.
unknownI don't know where it was.
SPEAKER_01I don't know what it was anymore. I wish the door was like a mama, my mama. I wish it was. The door wouldn't be on the number no more. Just like I tell the kids when I thought what they're doing, they do it. I'm sorry, because you don't know. This one is like, I don't know again, and I'm feeling like it's what they do nothing. We gotta know that. It's the parenting. You're in this house because of the food because of the mass. You're able to get the tree. Because some children think money grows on trees. With our water, my parents get it. No, that's not how that works. But because we're not teaching God in the household, they're going out into the world and social media is the worst teaching ever. But we cannot blame lack of prayer in schools for the way our school system is.
unknownThat's our fault. That's the parenting. We need to do that at home. All that stuff, everything starts at home. And what you're doing is you're showing, you're telling the world obedience.
SPEAKER_01The way your children act, the way they dress, how they treat adults, how they treat each other. They treat themselves. You're basically showing them that you really don't care what they're doing in your children. You know, be somebody else's problem when they talk about God. I ain't got nothing to do with it. Having brand schools means nothing if the souls that are walking through those doors don't have a vision for God. It does not matter. If they don't have the Lord in their spirit, if they don't know who the Lord is, and I say to know the Lord, I know of him. Know him. If those souls are not right walking through those doors, then no, having prayers won't do nothing. You won't do anything. Prayer is just the word. It's the actions that we need to work on with our children, the staff, and the word. You can sit there and have prayer with your child before they're going to the schools. And then they're going to the school, then I should get off. Because now they're amongst their home. Now they're amongst the sinfulness of the world, and that's more fun than walking around being holding the runs. Prayer starts at home. You know, even though I was in bed as my mother said, when I walked into that school, it took enough times for me to realize, okay, y'all are using me to do y'all's dirt. So I can take, but you know what? I'd rather be bullet by you than to go home and see Michael Carrie because I'm phone off.
unknownI'm good.
SPEAKER_01And so I was by myself. Although my mother would tell me differently, I was okay being by myself. That's the other problem we have with these young people. They want to be in these crowds. They want to be in the middle of stuff. And it's it's not good. That's how you get in trouble. I tell young people today don't want to be mindful of who you hang around, but be mindful of who you may hang around. Because it's not always for the goodness. I see enough people get into trouble because of who they're going to hang around them, then who they own, you know what I mean? Who they hold. It all goes back to the home. You know, it don't always have to be love. I mean, show what you can. You know, so when something happens, children accusation now is that if something happens in that school, you need to know about a devotional fire. If something happens in that school, you need to know about what the principal calls you about. But it all starts at home. We need to remember that the Bible is the only book that the same scripture will mean something different to you every day. What the scripture may mean to me today, and I mean the same thing tomorrow. Because I found something else out. I done went through something else. Children don't even know what a Bible is anymore because everything is electronic now. You know, you can look it up on the tablets and stuff here. I'm sitting around here with Bible stacked to the ceiling, because back in the day, I love this chapter when you graduate from high school. Sometimes your name was in gold on the front, sometimes your name was written on the inside. I got both of them. One with my name on the inside, one with the bottom. That's what you got. You didn't get no money. You got a bible.
unknownBecause you were about to go out into the world. You were now considered an adult.
SPEAKER_01So they gave you the first tool that you needed as you go off into the world. The book of the living word. We don't do that anymore. There's a lot of things that we don't do. And I don't know if it's because of your tradition, I don't know because we're trying to keep over the time. I don't know what it is. But it's not working. Because the kids are still, the kids are still secluded into their own world because they don't know what to do. You know, lack of prayer didn't do anything. If anything, it's because the parenting style changed.
unknownThat's the first school system.
SPEAKER_01Not because of lack of prayer because the parents no longer.
unknownYou know, they're not praying with their child no more school.
SPEAKER_01They're probably not praying for their child while they're sitting at working. Now they're stressed about the job, how we're gonna be paid. They better give me my money and I've worked on that whole time. You worry about the work the whole time, but the parenting has changed. Hey, I'm stuck in the middle of it about the way the way my mother and my parents raised me. Now I'm here. I know my children wish I quit, but I'm old school, I'm like, what you gonna? Why you don't bad way to me? I was right there when it's here. There's so many ways that we can get involved, but we choose not to, because we let the work it may become more important. Then not necessarily the education of our child, but the spirit of our children. God is awesome. He moves in us every day, and now it's our turn to move back into the world and reclaim it from him once again, our life. We can't expect him to fix this mess that we have. Can we? We're so busy letting, well, we'll let them do it.
unknownThey don't want to give the teachers what they're worth.
SPEAKER_01So you got teachers who are single, who've got the years, who've got the experience, who's got the walking away from the job, and say, look, in tears. Because the government doesn't think they're worth that extra money. You want me to now not only teach the child, discipline the child, you want me to put my life in harm's way if something happens to the child, you want me to be a psychiatrist, a collegist, a counselor, a mentor. You want me to do all these other things. But you don't want to give me the funds so I can do it. Growing up, teachers did not have to ask for 50 million things on supply list. Our house, we had a second open paper because both of the circumstances. We have a second open paper, we had pencils. And we really didn't have to have that. Why is it now that teachers have to go to their own personal bank accounts to supply the school? And then when you get the school supplies, by October, you're doing it again. It's like a whole new list all over you. Then continually, whole new list all again. Why do we have to keep doing that? Lack of prayer has nothing to do with it. It's just a work. It's the actions that we need to do. We need to reclaim what we let the devil see. The devil now has control of our children because parents don't care. The devil has control of our school systems because teachers don't care. They're too stressed out to care. We let the devil take over the church house. Because what is the church doing? No, that's not the church's problem, that's your problem.
unknownThat's your child. That's your problem.
SPEAKER_01So now you're letting what the world bring into the church, and now the church can't do what the church needs to do. Because now they got to be careful of your child and they come on praise. Like, okay, what's the child on the cross? That's not how it's supposed to be. When you come into his house, it's all supposed to be about peace and understanding.
unknownYou're supposed to come in here and get your soul saved, get your soul renewed. You're supposed to get refreshed. So when you walk out those doors, you're ready to take on the word, whatever he brings you.
SPEAKER_01When you come in here, you may have to lay your children physically on the altar, get a squirt bottle with some water in it, and the power of Christ prepares you, whatever you got to do, because you don't understand what's going on with your child.
unknownYou know that's what churches are supposed to do. When something is wrong, you should be able to go to the Father and prayer.
SPEAKER_01And if God said, take your child, place him on the altar, leave him, that's what you need to do. That don't mean you need to do that when you sit in the brother. We're too busy micromanaging. When you sit up there and you say, Okay, God, I give my child to you, that's you walk away.
unknownBecause at that point, you've done everything that you can do as a parent.
SPEAKER_01If you've done it the way God intended you to do it, you'll see it in your child. It may not always be the way you want. It may not always do the things you want them to do, but you'll see the God in you. That's something else we need to realize. What worked for us in our time is not the same for these young people. These young people got different ways that thinking of spirit, different ways that they learn about the Lord, different ways that they get their praise on. Seeing so they can do it the way that's thank you, too. Because kingdom from dad is kingdom to God because God is speaking to him, them in a way that they can understand. Just like God speaks to us in a way that we can understand. But it starts at harm. We have got to do a better job of raising these people in the blessed name of Jesus. Saying it is one thing.
unknownDoing it is the heart.
SPEAKER_01And you can say every day that my child is covered in blood, and do you look around the corner and what they're doing is being covered in the blood. But at some point, we have to step back. I know when I turn 18, I know my parents dance in that program, my father had one point for when I got out that house. But I knew I was covered. Not only by the blessing of Jesus, but I know I was covered by the prayers of my parents because I know she said it. And she told me what's right. She said, Father, I give her to you. Now I may not always love what they want me to do, I may not love the way they wanted me to do it. But they never had to go to a courthouse to come and get me. They never had to come up with a police person to come get your check. They never had to see me record records because I didn't have to spend some time. They never had to do none of that. Because I was covered. Because I knew what I was supposed to do. I knew what God allowed me to do. Because then sometimes God didn't have to step in. What you know? But God does that a lot of our children. But if they're not, if we're going to cover them before they leave, they're not listening.
unknownThe world is wild. Because Jesus is going to whisper. He's not going to always speak the word. But we have got to teach our children. You know, when you hear somebody talking to you, you're not crazy. That's God.
SPEAKER_01Because he sees what's coming. And he's trying to tell you. But at some point, this school year, you're going to have to let them. Yeah, we're going to have to let them walk. But we've got to make sure that the cover, we've got to make sure that they know who God is, not of God. They need to know who He is. My children are not at that age when I don't like to live anymore. Why come we can't do this? Do you want to do this or do you want to eat? Or why come you can't buy this? Do you want me to buy this or do you want to live in this house for another couple of days? They're at that age now where I'm not pressing sugarcoat anything anymore. Because you need to know that this, if you remember where I used to live, and you see where I'm at, what?
unknownWoo!
SPEAKER_01We have my Tampa Green shoe!
unknownBecause I better bottom this time. All right, all right. All right.
SPEAKER_01If I didn't have that foundation in my mama's house, I couldn't testify to stuff that I'm going on. Now, alright. All of this starts at home. When you realize the goodness, like the Christ said, just Jesus. His name alone did satisfy. Because he showed us that you are cut yourself short. There's so much more you can do when you let the world tell you no. But I wish to show you that you can't. Where we were and where we are now, I know it ain't nothing but good. Because there's no way that we should be where we are. And still be able to survive. You know, mortgage may be more. But when the mortgage was that, we're playing beat the republic. We're playing beat the. I guess I'm good with any other utilities of when I pay versus when they're gonna take it out. I could have helped clients. But now I don't have to do that again. A man. Yeah, man. Right. But it all goes to.
unknownYes, sir. What I was taught at school. Home. Yes, sir. We learned what I learned from my parents.
SPEAKER_01We learned what I learned coming to the church. Then I've now been able to share that with the next generation. The cousins, the nieces, the people that I have that are from other countries, other states that I can talk to, and I have no problem telling what I've been to, because I want them to know if he can take the devil's lieutenant and turn that person over to where now they'll need others to show them the way. There are a lot of other people out there like me that grew up in the church, got 18 years old, got away from hours, stopped going to church, stopped doing anything church related. There are a lot of other people just like me. They know that they shouldn't be what they are, but they've been known for so long they don't know how to come back home. That's what he called me to do. I usually go out there and get the other kids. Then I just like you. Show them that even though you were half off of your locker, you were still able to come back home. Show them that there's nothing that they have done.
unknownThat they can't come.
SPEAKER_01But it all starts at home. Let those elders help your children. You can't be everywhere all the time. But you do have people that are willing to step up when you're not around to make sure. And that's all children need is that little person every once in a while, when they start to stray like that, you know, that will come out. That's what I'm left. Amen. I don't need you because I don't need a company. So you need to do what you need to do. But we'll keep this between us. They need that guidance every once in a while. We need to stop letting you. Now that's something that we don't need to know or word touch out at all, but amen to that. But it still starts from the house. Because even when I ran to people like that, because of what I was taught at home, because of what I was taught in a banker, I knew how to deal with those people. You know, people that live, we're on the leader talking about. It starts at home. So when school starts, pray rejection. Don't pray for them, pray with them. Alright. Because there are things that they're gonna see, those things that they're gonna hear. They need to be shooting. And mom and daddy is not gonna make it worse if I come and tell you. So pray with them. Don't pray for them, pray with them. So they can understand that when they walk out the door, they are. If something happens, you get to a safe place. I will be there. Until then, God's got you till I can get there. We have got you to do a better job. Again, we cannot blame lack of prayer in school because it has nothing to do. Lack of prayer, prayer is just the word, it's the action. But even starts. Amen. Let us say it. So maybe to go to the next question.
