36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Hebrews-10-36/
We have missed out on so many blessings because of our lack of patience. God made promises, and He has kept every one of them, it is us that keeps breaking our promises to Him. Because of our continued broken promises to Him, we cannot receive His promises to us. We live in a world that is fast, quick and is always trying to find a loophole to get what we want faster than when we really need it.

Hello one and all, it is me, Stephanie. And before we start to set our soul free, I want to remind you to don't forget to subscribe to the channel, click the like, and leave a comment. Also, don't forget to hit the little notification bell so you know when new videos post. As always, I know we won't always agree, and that's okay. Man wasn't meant to always agree with one another. That's what makes our world that God created unique because everyone has a difference of opinion and I'm okay with it. Leave your comments so we can keep the conversation going. Remember, it's not about me, it's about you. It's about our youth. It's about setting our souls free with me, Stephanie. So let's get into it. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night. Wherever you are, in whatever part of the country you may live in, I greet you and say thank you for blessing me with your presence. It is time to set your soul free with me, Stephanie. So let's see what we can be blessed with today. Hello, hello, hello. It is your girl, and it's time to set your soul free with me, Stephanie. As you know, Sunday is Easter Sunday, and unless you just don't understand nothing about holidays, everywhere you go you're seeing candy, bunnies, baskets, it's just market mayhem. But today we're gonna talk about He promised me. And we're coming from Hebrews chapter ten, verse thirty-six. For ye have need of patience that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. We have missed out on so many blessings because of our lack of patience. It's like patience is not a human's virtue, and there's no telling how many promotions were skipped over, how many financial blessings of missed opportunities were missed, how many degrees we didn't get, how many course credits we could have gotten, all if we just had patience. God made promises and he has kept every one of them. It is us that keeps breaking our promises to him. God said, if you do this, I promise you this, this, this, and this, and this. We don't have nothing because we haven't done nothing. For every promise he said he would keep, we can't even hold up our part of the bargain to get a piece of the promise. And there's just no reason for it. We just don't have patience at all. Because of our continued broken promises to him, we cannot receive his promises to us. We live in a world that is fast, quick, and is always trying to find a loophole to get what we want faster than when we really need it. That goes to every podcast I've ever done, everything I've ever said to you while we always try to do something fast. You know, God laid out what we need to do in the order we need to do it. We try to find every little loophole we can to do what he said to do, but do it in faster time. So, you know, God, I see you got steps steps seven through ten over here, but I can go from seven to eight if I just do this right here. Well, now, if you don't follow his plan step by step, you don't get that blessing. Because the promise he made is if you did this, this, and this, because again, he has stuff lined up. As you complete each one of his requests, the blessing that comes with it comes with it. So if you are supposed to go 7, 8, 9, 10 and you go from 7 to 10, there's three blessings you just missed. Well, two and a half to three that you just missed because you skip steps. And now you may not receive what comes next because each blessing opens the door for the next blessing. So if you skip a step, and that's just how we are with our jobs, you know that there are certain things that you need to do in a certain order that you need to get it done. If you miss a step, it throws the rest of what you're doing out of whack because each step relies on the previous step that gets you to the next step. And if you skip a step, everything's out of whack. Your algorithm is jacked up, and you got to start all over again because you have to find where the error is. Same thing with the blessings of God. Our blessings come in steps. You know, you do this, once you complete this, you get this blessing. With this blessing, opens up this door. You complete this, you get this blessing. And this blessing latches on to the first one, but now opens the door for the third one. Everything he does comes in steps. So if you're wondering, well, I did what he asked me to do, but I da da da da da. What I mean somewhere along the line, you found a loophole and thought what you could do would get it done faster. And because you thought it was similar to what God was doing, you decided it was okay and it was the same thing. No, no, it's not. That's that's that's not how it works, but that's how we are. You know, we we we can't be patient, we can't take things slow, we can't stop and smell the roses, as they say, or enjoy life, slow down. Nope, everything's gotta be quick, quick, move, move. I got things to do. Got it uh uh this is you move it too, so got things to do, move out the way, move, move, move, go, go, go, nah, nah, now and we missed out on so many things, so many stresses that we have in our life could have been taken care of had we done what we should have done. BB Win and sings a song called He Promised Me. I got the link in the blog, the link will be in the podcast, and the link will be on YouTube so you can hear it. I love that song. In that song, he talks about how God is a healer, a protector, a deliverer, and a provider. Only God can be all these things at the same time and still be an on-time God whenever we are in need. God can do all these things because of the patience He has with us. It is because of God's patience that we have what we have today. Let me say that again for the people in the back who didn't hear. It is because of God's patience that we have what we have today. And once again, your girl is not ashamed to be that living testimony. I'll be that witness. I got no problem to tell you. Once again, the biggest reward that we got, where we're living now. From where we were to where we are, and those who knew where we live and those who saw where we lived. It wasn't bad. So let's not make it seem like it was something that we just put together with a couple pieces of wood and a and a tree branch. No, it wasn't bad. But to go from where we were to where we are now in this lifetime, we never would have thought that could have been done. And it was only done because of patience. What we were trying to do in this house, hunt, yeah, we could have skipped some steps. We could have done this. We had opportunities to skip this, to do this, and get this and come up with the same outcome, but the blessings wouldn't have been the same that came with it. We were blessed to get this house, not only to get this house, but we could afford it. Bills aren't behind. Plenty of food. If I don't feel like cooking, we got money where I can go get something to eat. Couldn't do that in the house that we were in. That was substantially less than where we are, but we were struggling. Every couple of months trying to keep the house out of foreclosure, playing beat the check with the utility so lights wouldn't get cut off. Having a complete bill and only paying half the bill where you still got 30 days to pay the next bill. So many things that we couldn't do. Trying to put food together that didn't go together to make a decent meal for everybody to eat. But to go from there to where we are now without a care in the world, that's nothing but God. And it only came because of the patience. We knew what needed to be done, but we knew it would take time, and I give God the glory. Hey, I'm so glad that we waited and did what we had to do in God's time because there is no way we could have gotten any of this by ourselves. So I'm not the one that's gonna be ashamed to tell what God has done. Look where I am. Look what I have, look what I can do. And you want to tell me that God didn't keep his promise to you? Well, what did you do? It's all about patience. You don't have the patience for God. Why should he have the patience for you? Why should he give you the full blessings that he promised you if you can't do one thing for him that it does not go out of your way? Because mainly the blessings that God wants to give us requires patience. Think about everything in the Bible that he did for people. Think about the blessings that people received in the Bible because of patience, because they had to wait, because they had to do this, then they had to do that, then they had to do that, and somewhere along the line the blessing started to overflow. It all comes down to patience. What us humans lack. Some more than others, some are worse than others. You know, you still got some that you know see what you have and trying to figure out how you got it and want to skip steps and try to take your blessings to make it their own. Never works out that way. Because that means you're stealing from God. You know God is not gonna tolerate that. I gave this blessing to this child. You gonna try to muzzle in and take it and refurbish it, repackage it, re-gift it like it's your own? You don't want him dealing with you for that. You don't want him dealing with you for that. How many times has God asked us to do something and we did not do it? How many times has he waited on you to do something that you prayed for him for, and yet you dragged your feet and received partial or none of the blessings that was meant for you? I have people come to me daily, pray for me, pray for this, pray for that, pray for that. And my first question is why? You know, and you've heard me say it before, you coming to me and asking me to pray for you, that's all fine and good. But it won't do no good if you ain't done what you're supposed to do. You know, you can have people pray on your behalf all day long, but just like in a court of law, we you got to do what you're supposed to do first. Because all these witnesses mean nothing if the person they're praying for ain't doing what they need to do. Which means if God said for you to do something, then I suggest you do it because all these other prayers is gonna be blocked by the door. Because, okay, well, they hadn't done what they're supposed to do. So why should I listen to anybody speak on your behalf when you can't do the work on your own? I'm not gonna let these people speak for you. I'm not gonna let these people do the work for you. You prayed for this, you wanted this, you need to do what you need to do so you can get it. And that's what it all boils down to. Again, patience. You got to do what you need to do. And like I said, that's what I tell people all the time. Why? It don't make no difference what I pray for. You ain't done what you're supposed to do yet. So until you do what you're supposed to do, why should I pray for you yet? You uh uh uh that's that's no. This I mean I'm gonna do it anyway, don't get me wrong. They know me, I'm gonna still do it, but it's not gonna hold water until you do whatever it is God wanted you to do. And I don't get into the particulars of that. That's another problem with us in the patients. People ask you to pray for them, and you want to ask why? What am I praying for? That's that's not what the that's not what the quest is. The request says, Can you pray for me? It didn't say can you pray for me because it just asked, can you pray for me? But we just know it by nature. We got to know what we're praying for. That's that's got nothing to do with you. God knows what they want. All they're asking you for is for you to pray for them. God knows what they're saying in Anita. For all I know, they've done all the praying that they can do. They just need those extra prayers to help lift them up so they can continue being down on their knees praying, giving all they got to God. That's all they need. We don't need to know the particulars. I prefer not to. That's not my business. You ask me to pray for you, I know what that God knows what you're standing in need of. That's what I'm gonna do. I don't need to know that. If they want to give it to me, that's fine. But then no, I'm not gonna ask them for it. That's that's not my business. You ask me to do a job, that's what I'm gonna do. Everything else in the middle, that's between you and God. I'm not gonna get in the middle of that because we're known to jack up something if somebody tells us something that ain't got no business of ours. We're known to mess everything up four or five times over, make it worse than what it was. To this day, God is still having patience with us because we still don't do what is expected of us, but we don't have the patience for our children or our jobs or for the world in general. God still got patience with us. We still ain't doing what we're supposed to do, and that's including me. Don't get me wrong. I'm I've started to do what he asked me to do, and the blessings have been overwhelming. I'm sitting up here like Wiley Coyote holding up a sign. Can we take, can we take a rest break? I'm tired, I can't keep up. But it's because I didn't do what I was supposed to do when I was supposed to do it. So the minute I started doing it and doing it in the order that God said, all those built-up blessings that's been waiting on me started to overflow. Because as I'm doing the next one, the other blessing poured out. When I did that one, the next blessing poured out, the next blessing poured out, and it's like a link on a chain. Each blessing boasted up the blessing before it. Each blessing powered the blessing that came up after it. But it's only because I started doing what he wanted me to do back then that I'm just getting to now. But for others, you know, you don't have patience to do this and do that, or you have patience for the people at your job because you want that promotion, but you don't have the patience for your children who are probably just running around playing, having fun, you know, doing what kids do, and you're about to bite their head off. Or it could be your job. You felt you've done everything you needed to do to get to wherever you need to get to, but your job says, mm-mm, not yet. Some things are missing, and you don't have patience, or you don't have patience with the world in general. The world is going crazy by itself. It don't need no more help from none of us or anybody that's outside of our country. We don't need no more help. The world is gone cuckoo for cocoa puffs by itself, but then you don't have the patience for what's going on in the world. Well, what have you done to help control some of the issues that are going on in the world? What have you done? It starts with you. Take care of you. Then that circle grows out to friends, then it grows out to family, then it grows out to strangers. Eventually, the love and blessings of God will touch people like a virus. The right virus that we need that will cleanse our hearts, cleanse our souls, clear our sights so we can see the real of what's going on. But it has to start with us, but it can't if we don't have the patience to begin with, because our impatience rubs off on the next person, that rubs off on the next person, that rubs off on the next person. So, what are we doing to help control this patience? What are you doing? April 17th is Easter Sunday, the day we are once again told the story of how Jesus got up from the grave after his crucifixion. On the third day he rose. It is also the day of Easter egg hunts and stores selling all things bunny. Now, there's nothing wrong with kids having fun hunting for eggs as long as they understand the true meaning of Easter, and it is up to us, the adults, to teach them and make sure they understand the sacrifice Jesus made when he died so we could live. But let's talk about how it's not only Jesus' sacrifice, it's God's sacrifice. God gave his only begotten son to this world that he knew was going to do him dirty, that he knew was going to scandalize his name, that he knew was going to backstab on him, and that he knew eventually would kill him. God knew, but he sacrificed his only begotten son anyway. So not only did Jesus sacrifice for our sins, but God did too because he gave his son to do it. You know, God didn't have to do none of that. Did you ever think what would happen if God gave Jesus to Mary? But then that was it. You know what, Mary, I'm gonna bless you with my son Jesus because you're worried. Have at him. Bless you. That was it. God didn't have to do nothing else. He didn't have to teach nobody, he didn't have to heal nobody, he didn't have to do nothing. He could go about his life, do what he wanted to do. Could you imagine what the world would be like? If he didn't have the instructions from his father to say, this is what I need you to do, and in the end, this is what's gonna happen. So these sin-filled, sick individuals who don't care nothing about you, it's all about them, so they can live. So they can have their sins wiped away and live. Could you just imagine what the world would be like if he didn't do it? But we can't sacrifice 10 or 15 minutes a day of our time to do something that God asks. That's selfish. We can't sacrifice a conversation or two to somebody who is in need and God sent them to us because we've been through that situation and we would be the best person to help. That's just wrong altogether. But he gave the ultimate sacrifice by dying so we could live. And what are we doing? What are we doing? So today keep your promise to God, be nice to others, do something unexpected for someone else that will bless them. You don't always have to do something for somebody and expect something in return. That just bothers me to my ankle bone. You don't have to do something for somebody and then turn around within the same breath, or you may give them a couple hours. Gotta remind them of what they did, what you did, so they can start thinking of how they're gonna repay you back. Well, then no, then you didn't do it out of sincerity. You didn't do it out of the willingness of your heart. You did it because you wanted to get something in return. Which in turn is gonna backfire on you. Because God said you're supposed to give wholeheartedly. You're not supposed to half do stuff. See, when you half do stuff, that means you are scandalizing God's name because you're supposed to be doing it for him, but you're not. You're doing it for yourself. And that doesn't look good, especially when people say, okay, well, she goes to church all the time, she helped me with this, but then she turned around and wants me to pay her back. Or she keeps bringing it up in my face every time I do something. No. Do something because you want to, not because you feel you have to. There's a difference. Don't do something because you you have to, you feel you have to. Well, I said I'm a Christian and I'm a child of God. I have to do no, no, you don't. You need to do it because you want to. You want to help someone else without expecting something in return. You want to be that friend who wants to be there for that other person without having to hear the whole story from A to Z. No. Do it because you want to, not because you have to. Spend time with your family, reconnect with the lost soul, bring healing to a hurting soul. A lot of families, I guess, from from Trump until now have been broken up, shook up, nuked up, just basically destroyed. Right now is the time to reconnect. Personal feelings aside, that ain't got nothing to do. Down in the blood that's running through your veins is kin. And in the end, family is the one that's gonna come to your aid, not your friend, not your acquaintance. Family. So it's time for you to reconnect with family. Put that aside. Let it go. Ain't nothing you can do about it. You can't change one person's opinion no more than they can change yours. So why are you gonna be mad about it? Let it go. Come with that understanding. When we get together, this is what we're not gonna talk about. You don't talk about what you know angers both of you all. You ain't got no problems in the world. None. But you got family that just love to argue. That's what they live for. Argue, argue, argue. I know what I can do to get up under her skin, argue, argue, argue. I know what I can do that'll tick him off. Argue, argue, argue, fight, fight, fight. No. No. Don't be doing all that. That's childish. Grow up. Be an adult. Now, more than ever, we need the promises of God to step in and heal this evil world. You can't be a child of God and do evil. You can't be a child of God and be mean to somebody. You can't be a child of God and tell somebody you're gonna do something for them and then have to do it if you do it at all. No, you can't do that. You know, you're that living Bible, you're that living testimony, you're that ray of hope people are clinging on to, you know, so they can do what they know they need to do. So you're supposed to help, not hinder. You're supposed to heal, not hurt. We need his promises to step in and cleanse us from all the sins we have committed against one another and ourselves. You know, committing sins against someone else is bad, but when you commit it against yourself, that's hard. You know, because most of the times we don't we don't mean to do it intentionally. It's something we did, that karma came back around, knocked us upside our head, knocked us off our feet, we landed dead on our butt. But it's not like something we can't be forgiven. You just have to come wholeheartedly and humble and ask for forgiveness. Now, here's the part that people need to be reminded You can't keep committing a sin over and over and over and over and over and over again and again. You can't keep doing that and think that every time you get down on your knees and ask for forgiveness, every time God's gonna forgive you. No. Again, people forget God is a parent. Every time we got in trouble, did our parents forgive us every single time? No. At some point, we either got our butt beat or we were grounded for a good minute. Because you can't keep committing the same thing over and over again and think I'm sorry is gonna wipe your slate clean. No, it's not. Same thing with God. He is a parent. He's not gonna let you keep, you know, doing the same sin over and over and over, and you think he's gonna forgive you every single time you come to him humbly down on your knees, snotting and bawling with your face all swollen because you cried so much, and you think he's gonna forgive you the fifth time, the sixth time, maybe even the third time. No. At some point, he's gonna be like, mm-mm. Apparently you are so used to what you're doing because I keep forgiving you. Let me take this veil of protection off so you can see the consequences of your actions. That's just like a parent, just like our parents did with us. After so many times, you know what? No. Mm-mm. You're finished to face the consequences for what you did. You have to learn that when you do wrong, you get done wrong. And you're gonna have to learn what that feels like. Because if not, you're gonna keep doing it over and over again, thinking that okay, well, I'll do it, my parents will bail me out, you know, I'll do it, God will bail me out, you know, I'll do it, my best friend will bail me out. Nope, you're gonna learn. Nope. That doesn't work that way. So today, do the best you can to keep your promises to God so He can fulfill his promises to you. Again, your girl is standing here as a witness. For those who are on the email list, you've noticed this almost like every time I send you an email, there's something new added to it. I'm literally palm out. Literally, I'm never not working. And why? Because I'm doing what God wanted me to do two years ago. When he had me step away from doing the youth church, the youth dance, the youth this, the youth that, when he had me step away from the youth ministry in my church, because all the children had transitioned upstairs, they graduated, they could go upstairs, but I was still finding reasons to still pittle paddle around the church. When he gave me my reason that this is who I'm having to come up behind you to take over because I got something else for you to do, that was two years ago. And I'm I have no lie to tell. Drag my feet because I'm like, oh, I see where we're going. Uh-uh, you know I don't do that. I don't do pictures, I don't do video, I don't like talking to people in general. Dragging my feet, and now because he knew what was in my soul, he knew what was in my heart, he knew the people I have touched already that I didn't even know that I have touched. He knew that I was going to do it. He knew it. He come on. I have I have a baby brother. I can ask him to do something. He'll argue, complain, just to be doing it. Because he's laughing while he's doing it. But that's just his nature. Because I know he's gonna do it anyway. But he just gotta argue about it. That's just how some people are. You know they're gonna do something, but yeah, but you know they're gonna have to complain about it first, but you know they're gonna do it. So I knew what he wanted me to do, but I'm like, ah, I don't have to do it like that. You know, dragging my feet. And now he brought opportunities around, just like I told you last time. You know, the things I kept doing, and he kept taking the excuses away. For every time I had an excuse for a reason, that time when it came back around again, that excuse was gone anymore. So I had no excuses left. I had no choice. Guess what? He did it again. Because he know I'm gonna do it. But again, he every excuse I came up with, he took it away. I have no excuses anymore. So I started to do what he asked me to do. So we started with the blog, then we got the podcast, then because some of my followers are YouTube people, you know, they're not savvy on the on the other stuff, you know, we got the YouTube channel. Then we got we started doing the e-commerce thing. Because I'm a poet. I know I'm a poet. I've been a poet. I've stopped doing poetry, except for every once in a while when I do speeches for kids at church or prayer, you know, poems and stuff for kids doing prayers at church, you know, when they first starting out or Easter speeches, like I the Black History um speech I did for my son, um, the Christmas one that I did about does it really matter? You know, I'm a poet and I know that. I'm supposed to do a book of poetry. Hang out around to doing that shit. But he's opened up the door for me to do this devotional book that I've started. I mean, I've got over seven, eight hundred pages of stuff that I could put in a devotional book. It'll probably be in volume one, volume two, because I'm not gonna do that. I'm not gonna put all that in one thing. But again, he's made opportunities come around for me to do what he wants me to do. That there is no excuse anymore. I have no choice. You know, well, I have a choice, but I know what I'm gonna do. So I take it back. Yeah, I say it again. I I have no choice because I know what I'm gonna do, and I'm gonna do it. So again, I don't mind me being that that that example. I don't mind. Nothing, I'm not ashamed of anything that I've done because it got me to where I am now. Am I never not working? Nope. Never, never, ever, ever, ever, ever. With the e-commerce, now we got the mugs, we got the shirts, we got the candles, we got, well, we don't do masks because you know there's the certain kind of masks that you have. So if I do masks, it's for like certain people. We got the bottles, we got so much stuff that we do that now we got a whole different site where we just sell different products, just different things. It's never, I'm literally never not working. So it's like when you get an email from me during the week saying, new to this way, it shouldn't surprise you because I'm never not working. Because he gives me these opportunities to do stuff to bless people in other ways, and that's what I'm gonna do. You know, again, that's why Bear is like he saw me on this platform and this platform and because I have to be. I have to reach people where they are. You know, not everybody's into Facebook, not everybody's into the streaming, the downloads. Not everybody's into that, not everybody's into Instagram. You you got to go where people are, you know. That's how you reach souls going where they are. I just looked at the post I did this last time about the Oscar slap, why you so angry? And I've got people in the Russian Republic, I've got people in China, Japan, Brazil. I would have never been able to reach people that far away if it wasn't for the glory of God. You know, I don't care your denomination, I don't care your gender, I don't care your country, I don't care your religion, because in the end, we're all trying to strive to do the same thing. Glorify God. However, we can do it in a way that people can understand. That's what my job is. That's all what my job is. I'm not to judge nobody on nothing else because I don't need them judging me. Do what God asks you to do. And in this day and age, with this technology, we need to do it the best way we can. We need to reach as many people as we can, how we can. Because you don't know whose life you're saving, you don't know whose life you're saving that saved other people's lives because it stopped them from doing something that may have hurt other people. Do what you can with what you got to bless as many souls as you can, but you've got to start with yourself, and it starts with patience. We can't get to where God wants us to be running through it quickly. It starts with patience. Amen. Let us pray. Father God, we come here today to say thank you. Father, we thank you for giving the patience to know what we need to do. And Father, we thank you for the patience you have shown us when we don't do it the way that you ask. Father, we ask a blessing for all the youth, the young adults, the seniors, the middle class, the upper class, the lower class. Father, whatever that you gave life that they can breathe, we ask for you for blessing. Father, we pray for that person who is short on patience as of right now, Father, thinking they have done other they can do, Father, that they're at the end of their rope, that they're about to do something that they cannot return from. Father, we ask that you bless them in the mighty name of Jesus to not give up, to hold on. Work on that patience, that the blessings are coming to them in time. Father, we thank you for everything that you have done for us. Father, even though we know we are not worthy. Father, we thank you for still granting us the blessings you feel we are deemed, even though, Father, we don't completely do everything that you ask. Father, we thank you, Father. We thank you for the air that we breathe. Father, we thank you for the ground that we can walk on. Father, we thank you for the clothes on our backs, the food in our bellies. Father, we thank you for our shelter, whether it's what we want or what we are stuck with or what we have. Father, we thank you. Because it could have been a lot worse. Father, we ask that you bless, that you send the angels down from heaven to reach into these angels on earth to help those they know are in need. And not only that, Father, that the people that are in need let the help help. That they become humble so they can receive the blessings that you are sending their way. Father, we thank you, Father. We praise you, Father. I thank you, Father, for letting me be that vessel that's not ashamed of nothing that I've done, Father, that will openly share the story with others to let them know that if it can happen to me, that it can happen to anyone, that there is no favoritism, Father. All they got to do is follow your will, show the patience, make their actions go along with their words. That blessings is not down to just one person. All can receive the glory and bounties of your Father, of you, Father. We thank you, we praise you, and in your Son Jesus' name we pray. Amen. And as always, because we still got hurting souls around here every day, still hurting. We don't know what's going on in the household, we don't know what's going on with the job, we don't know what's going on with the children. People are still hurting, but either are too ashamed to ask for help, or they don't know how to ask for help, or they don't know where to get that help. So, as always, we need to continue to be that light in someone else's darkness. Amen. Amen.
